Members of the GPF and customs officers participated in a two-day training program conducted by the International Narcotic Control Board (INCB). The training focused on identifying synthetic drugs, analyzing trafficking trends, and best practices for secure, real-time intelligence sharing via INCB platforms. Participants were introduced to INCB's tools—IONICS, GRIDS Intelligence HD, and ELITE—to facilitate international collaboration and exchange of actionable intelligence across borders.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), in coordination with the DEA Georgetown Country Office, conducted intensive training courses on basic and advanced narcotic investigations. The training, hosted by the GPF, included 35 ranks from the GPF, Guyana Defence Force (GDF), Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA), and the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU). Funded under the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative (CBSI), the program focused on case management, surveillance, intelligence sharing, and regional drug trends, enhancing the capacity to combat drug trafficking and related threats.
