Each November, the GPF, in collaboration with the Guyana National Road Safety Council (GNRSC) and the Ministry of Home Affairs, conducts Road Safety Month. Activities include inter-faith services, educational lectures in schools, increased traffic enforcement, and public awareness campaigns. For instance, in November 2023, the campaign was launched under the theme "Road Safety is Not a Slogan; It is a Way of Life. Respect the Road," with events such as a road parade in Anna Regina and school engagements.

Traffic Safety Campaign: The GPF, in partnership with Impressions Branding, initiated the "Respect the Road" campaign to address the rise in road accidents. The campaign focuses on educating the public about safe driving practices through social media outreach, signage, school programs, and collaboration with driving schools to ensure proper driver education.

One police rank completed pilot training in Miami, and 3 additional ranks are pursuing studies in aeronautical engineering at Ogle. This training is crucial for the operational readiness of the forthcoming Aviation Unit.
